Mapping conversion attribution data in Zapier

You will be able to send the UTM parameters from your Fluent Forms submissions to Zapier using our AFL UTM Tracker plugin and the Fluent Forms Zapier module.

Steps

Create Webhook Trigger on Zapier

1. Login into your Zapier account.
2. Create a new Zap.
3. Search for Webhook.
4. Select the Webhooks by Zapier.
5. Set the Trigger Event to Catch Hook.
6. Continue.
7. Click Copy to copy the Custom Webhook URL.

Setup Zapier in Fluent Forms

1. In your WordPress admin, go to your Fluent Forms.
2. Enable the Zapier module in the Integration Modules.
3. Select a Form > Settings > Zapier.
4. Add a new Webhook.
5. Paste the Zapier’s Custom Webhook URL into the Webhook URL field.
6. Save Notification.

Testing the Webhook

1. Make sure that you have already setup AFL UTM Tracker in Fluent Forms.
2. Launch your website with the UTM URL in Private Browsing mode to simulate a new visitor.
3. Fill and submit a form.
4. Go back to the Zapier’s website and click Test Trigger.
5. Click on the Request A dropdown to refresh if the data has not come into Zapier.
6. Continue.
7. Create an Action for any Zapier app (e.g Google Sheets, CRM) and you will be able to select the attribution data from the dropdown menu.
